Abstract:
Parents are pivotal in shaping their children's learning journeys, particularly for children with diverse needs. This comprehensive workshop is thoughtfully designed to empower parents with the essential knowledge, strategies, and skills required to create inclusive and effective home learning environments tailored to the unique needs of their children. The program seeks to equip parents to ensure that their children can thrive regardless of their distinctive characteristics and challenges.
The primary objective of this module is to provide parents with the information needed to design routines that cater to their children's distinct needs and abilities, including those with diverse requirements. Parents will delve into strategies and methodologies for customizing schedules, considering individual learning styles, abilities, and developmental needs, ultimately fostering enriching and impactful support for children with distinct needs.
Critical components of this comprehensive parent-focused training program include:
a) Designing Routines: Parents will gain comprehensive insights into creating routines that consider the unique qualities of their children and learning styles. The program will guide tailoring schedules to accommodate their child's needs while fostering a sense of structure and predictability.
b) Ensuring Consistency: Recognizing the importance of consistency within the home learning environment, parents will acquire a comprehensive repertoire of techniques to maintain consistent routines and expectations. These are essential for adequate supervision and guidance.

About The Resource Speaker
Mr. Saballa is a resource speaker and a consultant by profession. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and is a Registered Psychometrician. He also holds a Certificate in Special Education and is taking further studies. As an advocate, he conducts empowerment training and workshops for private and government institutions. In his years of advocacy, he founded support services aimed at helping the intervention community. He is currently the founder of Coaching Space, a digital platform that provides mentorship and performance coaching support for individuals, groups, and organizations. This is a culmination of all his work that spans 20 years, dedicating himself to a life of training and empowerment.
